There was a beautiful woman who wanted to get married, and desired to have a very pious husband. She decided that she’ll marry the man who recites the whole Qur’an every single day, fasts for the whole year, and stays awake and worships Allah all throughout the night.
Her comeliness was astounding and a great number of suitors wanted to marry her, but they knew they couldn’t fulfill the conditions she set… Until this one man stepped forward and said he could fulfill them. So, the Imam married them to each [...]

Sadly, Ramadan is spiraling to an end. It’s important that we press the breaks and try to make the most out of these last few blessed moments. Take your eyes off the clock and place them in the Qur’an! Keep saying ithkar and pray all your voluntary prayers. Keep yourself in good company that reminds you of Allah . Pray taraweeh! In fact, take a bag of candy with you to the mosque and give everyone a piece during the break. Help your brother or sister break their fast. Put the [...]

Could it be the manner in which I speak?
Do you disapprove of the clothes I wear?
Is it the fact that you can not see my hair?
Maybe it’s because you believe I’m weak
Well I for one find fault in your critique
My mode of dress should be my own affair
As natural to me as bowing down in prayer
Is my choice not flaunt my own physique
No man made law should attempt to impede
My desire to do right by my own belief
Don’t imprison me within your own ideal
All the while crying out “she must be [...]

I woke up suddenly one night,
and saw a strange light in my room….
The problem is that the lights are off.
I saw the clock, it was 3:30 in the morning.
Okay… so where is all this light coming from?
———-
I turned around and saw something very strange..
My body was half way through the wall! (?!?)
I immediately pulled it out and sat down to see if I’m okay.
This is strange…
I tried to push onto the wall, but my arm goes through!!
———-
I heard a sound.
I turned to my brother’s bed to see him sleeping.
I was really [...]

I have grandparents
uncles and aunts
from Palestine and Malaysia
and don’t forget North America.
I also have second cousins
from Italy, Russia,
and Turkey
but don’t forget China
and India
If we’re all together
we create a picture
of faces of diffrent
color and race
but that doesn’t matter
cuz we’re unique as a family.
My family is global
and that’s why
we love to travel.
